What was the highlight of Lo Hong ka Countryside House

A satisfies stay in Yilan, away from the buzzling city. It is always better to have a car to come stay here.

It is spacious. Although is more of a homestay, facilities are well prepared. Even have a lift in the house itself. Breakfast served were vege that the owner planted herself, a very warm lady.

Carpark area have a lot of fruit flies. But not a big problem.

Wonderful amenities, great breakfast, and would stay here again!

Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed besides the standard toiletries and water. There were a room dehumidifier and a mosquito essential oil burner that we used. The bathroom was quite roomy and had a tub, and the toilet had a bidet. Even though the house is a little far from central Luodong by walking, you can borrow their bikes to bike around. We biked from the house to the Yilan Center of National Arts, which was around a 30 minute ride. Biking to central Luodong would probably take less than 10 minutes. The Taiwanese style breakfast at the house was great. We had sweet potato porridge with a variety of side dishes like scrambled eggs, marinated tofu, cucumbers, dried fish. They also provided toast, coffee, and tea for a more Western style breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent, traditional Taiwan-style with sweet potato congee and local dishes, but toast, jams and spreads, and coffee available. Very quiet and clean. Pick-up and drop-off from Ludong Train Station can be arranged, but limited services.

Accessibility to get there; must have either car or scooter to get around (it is too hot in the summer to bike around during the day) and no child seat on bikes for young kids.

We enjoyed our stay in the Yilan countryside.

We enjoyed our stay in the Yilan countryside. The room was comfortable and clean. We were able to cycle around with the bicycles provided for free..The breakfast was wonderful. Appreciate the warmth of the family-run Minsu and great service provided.

The signage to the location was a little small and hard to find. But they answered our call immediately and we were able to locate it without much problems.

Easy to access, rooms very big and clean, lift available, breakfast is traditional local food and very well prepared. Most of the items are prepared by the owner and it was so good we bought some of the ingredient from them
